MIT Sloan's application is truly unlike any other! While they are looking for many of the same qualities as other M7 programs, the way your stories and strengths come together is much different. I've helped dozen of Sloan hopefuls gain acceptances over the years, and my aim to to demystify the application and help you put your best foot forward. Here's how we'll build an application that makes the case for Sloan: **Application Strategy & Planning**: We'll kick off with a deep dive into your background, career goals, and personal story. Together, we'll develop a strategic roadmap tailored to highlight your strengths, address any weaknesses, and make sure every part of the application shines. **Resume**: I'll help you craft a polished, impactful resume that showcases your achievements and potential. **Recommendation**: We'll strategize on selecting and guiding your recommender to ensure their letters reinforce your narrative. **Cover Letter Development & Editing**: The cover letter can be perplexing when you're just looking at the prompt. We'll brainstorm your key messages and make sure we pack as much rich content as we possibly can into 300 words. **Video Essays**: For Video #1 (the "who are you?" video), I'll vet potential topics, help you outline the narrative, and coach you on the delivery. When it gets closer to submission, I'll practice with you live and/or provide feedback on recordings. For Video #2 (the randomly generated prompt), I'll share intelligence on previous questions and help you brainstorm a story bank to draw from for behavioral prompts. We will practice these as well. **Supplementary Materials**: I'll ensure your Org Chart is on point and your Date Visualization (if you are invited to interview) is interesting and effective. **Online Application Content**: I'll provide guidance on the Employment Info, Activities, and short-answer sections of the application form so you can use them to further strengthen your application rather than treating them as throwaway. **Interview Preparation**: I'll conduct a mock interview to help you articulate your story confidently and effectively. We'll practice common questions and refine your responses to ensure you're ready to impress. Throughout our collaboration, I'm committed to providing honest, constructive feedback and being a supportive partner in your application journey. My goal is to help you present a cohesive, compelling application that reflects who you are and why you belong at Sloan.
