As a healthcare investment banker for ~5 Years at Wells Fargo Securities, I have served as Staffer, Recruiting Team Captain, and Manager. I have interviewed, hired, and trained three classes of summer and full-time investment banking analysts and executed over $10.0Bn in deals across 90+ transactions. The candidates who don't get offers typically aren't underprepared — they're overprepared on the wrong things. The pattern I see over and over: candidates who memorized 500 technicals but have a generic "Why Banking."
