Description

Send me your resume and LinkedIn URL. We start with a 15–30 minute strategy session to unpack your background and work through the questions your materials raise. I then rewrite the resume and send it back with a note on the three questions an IB screener will stop on when they read you. Why this matters. Most candidates treat the resume as a tool to get an interview. It is more than that. It is the asset that shapes the internal conversation bankers have about your candidacy when you are not in the room, and it should be built with that in mind. I sat on recruiting teams at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, where I was promoted to VP, and I personally screened candidates. I know what makes a profile stand out on that first pass. This is that screen, applied to yours. What I do. I translate your resume into the one-page format bankers expect to see, then revise every bullet so it answers the question a banker is actually asking: what did you do, and what came of it? I flag the lines that would complicate your behavioral interviews later, and position you for coffee chats and every other conversation you will have with a bank. If your background is non-traditional — non-target school, career changer, military, clinical — this is where it gets translated into language a finance reader recognizes. I made that move myself, from medicine into banking. The service will be delivered within a week and I have built it for undergrad, MBA and lateral candidates.

Ex-Goldman VP & Physician | Clients Land at Goldman, Morgan Stanley & BofA

I broke into investment banking the hard way — from a non-traditional background (clinical medicine) — so I know exactly what it takes to get in from the outside, and how to teach it. But I didn't just break in: I started as an M&A banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, then moved to Goldman Sachs and earned the promotion to Vice President in its Healthcare Investment Banking group. That path matters for you in two ways: I can coach you not only on how to land your first offer, but also on how to position yourself for the top of the Street and how to actually excel once you're inside the walls of an elite bank, which is what earns the promotions. I've also sat on the other side of the table: I served on recruiting teams at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, so I've personally screened, interviewed, and selected candidates; I know precisely what gets someone pulled from the pile and what gets them cut. My background also includes an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where I supported the admissions committee, further honing my ability to evaluate and guide applicants. Over the years I've coached 60+ candidates through this process. As your coach, I'll get you sharp on the things that decide offers: a confident approach to networking, a professional résumé and "walk me through your story" that land, airtight fundamentals across accounting, valuation, DCF, LBO, and M&A, and mock interviews that feel like the real thing. And because I've built deep relationships across both banks and Wall Street more broadly, for candidates who put in the work and reach a genuine bar of quality and preparedness, I'm glad to open doors Re: introductions and recommendations across my network, including, as a Goldman Sachs alumnus, a direct introduction to Goldman recruiting. I've made the leap, moved up, and helped others do the same. Now I want to help you land the offers.
