About
If you’re preparing for an Amazon, Big Tech, or senior leadership interview, I can help you turn your experience into clear, convincing evidence that interviewers can recognize and remember. I spent nearly eight years at Amazon across the UK, Luxembourg, and Italy, working in Operations, Business Development, and Program Management. As a Hiring Manager, I conducted more than 150 interviews and saw first-hand what separates an average answer from one that earns the offer—particularly in behavioral interviews, Leadership Principles, and senior-level assessments. After Amazon, I moved into leadership roles at Amplifon and HelloFresh, most recently serving as Head of Operations for HelloFresh Italy. I therefore understand career progression from both sides of the table: as an interviewer evaluating candidates and as a senior professional navigating competitive hiring processes and career transitions. Today, I’m also the founder of Operward, an operations and procurement consultancy supporting physical-product companies with operational improvement, supply chain, logistics, and scalable growth. This work keeps me closely connected to the challenges faced by managers and senior leaders in real operating environments. Over the past five years, I’ve coached more than 300 professionals internationally, from early-career candidates to experienced managers and senior leaders. I specialize in Amazon and Big Tech interview preparation, behavioral and competency-based interviews, STAR storytelling, career strategy, and offer negotiation. I also publish practical interview and career resources through giuliofamiglietti.com. My coaching is practical, candid, and tailored to your experience. I don’t teach candidates to memorize polished scripts. I help you select the right examples, strengthen the evidence behind them, communicate your impact clearly, and understand how your answers will be evaluated. I hold an MBA in International Management from ESCP Business School, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Law from the University of Genoa.

Giulio’s Project Management Qualifications
Coaches professionally
Experience level: Director
10+ Project Management clients
I help aspiring and experienced project and program managers communicate their work with greater structure, commercial awareness, and measurable impact—whether they are preparing for interviews, moving into program leadership, or strengthening their performance in role. My guidance is grounded in real delivery experience and the perspective of a former Amazon Hiring Manager. During nearly eight years at Amazon, I worked across Program Management, Operations, and Business Development, leading complex initiatives across countries and functions. As Head of Sort Center Launches for Southern Europe, I managed around 70 retrofit projects per year, major site launches, substantial capital investment, and a team of Program Managers. This required rigorous planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, commercial negotiation, and concise communication with senior leadership. I have also coached 300+ professionals internationally, helping them translate complex projects into clear evidence of ownership, influence, judgment, and results.
Why do I coach?
I started coaching while I was still at Amazon. After conducting more than 150 interviews, I saw that strong candidates often struggled not because they lacked experience, but because they found it difficult to turn that experience into clear evidence an interviewer could evaluate. I genuinely enjoyed helping people make that connection: identifying the stories they had overlooked, understanding the value of their own experience, and walking into an interview able to communicate it with confidence. Seeing that work lead to an offer, promotion, or better compensation made coaching particularly rewarding. My own unexpected career transition made this work even more meaningful. When HelloFresh closed its Italian operations, the leadership role I had worked hard to reach disappeared - not because of my performance, but because of a wider business decision. It reminded me that careers are rarely linear and that capable people can still benefit enormously from an objective perspective when their plans suddenly change. That is ultimately why I coach. I help people turn uncertainty or opportunity into a concrete next step—whether that means delivering a stronger interview, securing a better offer, earning a promotion, or choosing a new direction. The most rewarding message I receive isn’t simply, “The interview went well.” It’s, “I got the offer.”
