Hi, I'm Jack! I'm a senior at Tulane University studying finance. After graduation, I'll be joining Macquarie Capital as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Aerospace, Defense & Government Services group. I grew up in Washington, D.C. in a family without a background in finance. When I arrived at Tulane, I set my sights on investment banking, only to realize the challenges of breaking in from a non-target school with a limited alumni network and no personal connections in the industry. Starting at a disadvantage, I had to be strategic and develop creative approaches to break in, which helped me secure interviews at firms like Evercore, Morgan Stanley, Centerview, Guggenheim, and William Blair. For the past two years, I've run a tutoring practice helping non-target students land internship offers at firms like Rothschild, BNP Paribas, RBC Capital Markets, and others.

Why do I coach?
I coach to give back and help students who may feel lost or behind in the recruitment process. I know firsthand how challenging it can be, and I want to share both the mistakes I made and the strategies that ultimately helped me succeed. Having just gone through the process, I bring up-to-date insights and perspectives on the constantly evolving recruitment landscape. Throughout my journey, I was fortunate to have mentors who not only guided me but also gave me the confidence to push forward when the process felt overwhelming.
