Interview Ready 4: Technicals Under Pressure
About the event
Knowing the answer is half of a technical question. The other half is what happens after you give it, when the banker follows up or just goes quiet and waits. This session is about delivery under that pressure. Every technical question has a stress round after your answer. The follow-ups and variations are there to separate memorization from understanding, and at elite boutiques that round is where most of the difficulty sits. What we'll cover: - Answering first, then stopping, and why silence is safer than filling it - What to say when you do not know the answer - TECH4 for walk-me-through questions - CALC for the math, worked out loud - Catching your own arithmetic mistake without losing composure - Dropping breadcrumbs that steer the follow-ups toward what you know Want to practice under real pressure before it counts? I run a 90-minute mock interview, a full simulation and then rapid-fire technicals on whatever broke. Book a free 15-minute intro to see if it is a good fit. Part 4 of Interview Ready, a six part run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each one stands alone, so jump in anywhere. I'm the founder of OFFERGOBLIN and ex-Centerview tech.
