Deferred Admissions Strategic Blueprint For High-Achieving College Seniors and Early-Career Candidates Deferred MBA admissions is not about how long you’ve worked. It’s about where you’re headed. This engagement is designed to help you translate your academic achievement, leadership experiences, and long-term ambition into a clear and compelling application that reflects maturity, focus, and genuine potential. Client capacity is intentionally limited each round to ensure personalized attention. ⸻ What This Engagement Includes 1. Strategic Career Clarity We begin with structured discovery and a 90-minute strategy session focused on helping you think bigger and more clearly about your future. Together, we clarify: • Your long-term leadership vision • Your near-term (2–4 year) post-graduation plan • Industry and function alignment • What truly differentiates you within a competitive applicant pool 2. School Strategy (1–3 Programs) For each target school, we evaluate: • Cultural fit and leadership philosophy • Program-specific expectations • Messaging themes unique to that institution 3. Essay & Leadership Development Deferred applicants must demonstrate depth and maturity beyond their years. We work together to refine: • Leadership stories • Intellectual curiosity and initiative • Long-term ambition and purpose The process includes: • Structured brainstorming • Essay outline development • Focused draft feedback with a streamlined revision model • Final cross-application alignment review The goal is thoughtful refinement, not endless editing. 4. Resume Positioning Your resume is calibrated specifically for deferred review: • Leadership over job description • Initiative and ownership • Academic distinction • Clear upward trajectory 5. Recommender Strategy I provide guidance on: • Selecting the right recommender • Aligning themes with your leadership narrative • Professionally managing recommender timelines Deliverable: Recommender Alignment Guide and briefing framework. 6. Interview Preparation If interviews are extended: • School-specific preparation • Structured mock interview • Feedback focused on clarity, confidence, and maturity

Why Students and Parents Feel Confident Working With Me Applying to deferred MBA programs is an exciting milestone, but it can also feel uncertain. Students are making important decisions about their future, and parents want to know their son or daughter is being guided with care, structure, and integrity. Families feel comfortable working with me because I am also a parent, bringing both experience and perspective to the process. With 17 years in MBA admissions consulting and a 40-year professional background across engineering, corporate leadership, and entrepreneurship, I understand how careers develop over time. I view deferred admission as part of a much larger journey, and I guide students with that long-term lens in mind. Students appreciate that our conversations are thoughtful and grounded. I ask meaningful questions that help them clarify their ambitions and recognize strengths they may not have fully seen before. The process is structured but also supportive. My goal is to help each student feel more confident in their direction and more comfortable articulating their story. Parents value the organization and transparency. The engagement follows a clear timeline with defined milestones and timely feedback. Expectations are clear. Progress is steady. Communication is direct and professional. Above all, I bring a calm presence to a competitive process. Admissions decisions are selective and sometimes unpredictable. I help students focus on preparation, reflection, and presenting their potential with maturity and integrity. That steady guidance allows families to move through the process with confidence rather than anxiety. This partnership is designed to develop clarity, confidence, and long-term perspective while guiding students through one of their first significant professional decisions.

Today, I am dedicated to assisting professionals in not only elevating their own lives but also benefiting the world. As an admissions coach with over 15 years of tremendous success helping 1000+ traditional and non-traditional candidates - including hundreds of successful admits to M7 programs - I am uniquely qualified to help MBA candidates from all career paths and backgrounds to achieve success in their applications to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Kellogg, MIT, Booth, Columbia, and others. My ultimate goal is to empower professionals to maximize their MBA journey, shaping meaningful, purpose-driven futures that resonate with their values and aspirations, while contributing positively to the world. However, the life journey I took to become a top MBA admissions coach helps me appreciate and respect my clients' breadth and range. Growing up in the vibrant and culturally rich environment of Chicago instilled in me the values of hard work, reliability, and the transformative power of education. From an early age, I witnessed how perseverance and learning could open doors and create opportunities. These principles guided me through my time at the University of Illinois, where I pursued a degree in materials engineering. While juggling rigorous academics, I also worked in an R&D lab to fund my education and served as director of a Presidential award-winning student-run corporation that championed community volunteerism. After graduation, I ventured to Southern California to launch a career in aerospace manufacturing and materials research. Leading a product development team deepened my fascination with business decision-making, prompting me to earn an MBA at the Merage School of Management in Irvine. This expanded my career into diverse roles, spanning aerospace product management, IT product management, rapid prototyping business development, intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship, and consulting. Along the way, I became captivated by empowering individuals to align their MBA education and future careers with their creativity and passions. I joined one of the pioneers in the MBA consulting industry and, after 17 years of success, am thrilled to be working with future business leaders at Leland!
