Description

Best Value Package — $325 for two sessions This is my most common package, recommended for residency applicants preparing for their first interviews. The package includes two 60-minute sessions, for two hours of live coaching in total. Most students who come to me benefit from a session where we work through common interview questions one at a time: “Tell me about yourself,” “Why are you pursuing this specialty?” and “Why our program?” In our first session, I listen to your response to each question and immediately give you personalized feedback. We work together on your examples, organization, and delivery so your answers feel clear and authentic. After you have time to practice and incorporate the feedback, we meet for a full mock interview. I let you complete the interview without interruptions, then we debrief and review your strengths and areas to improve. This gives you both focused coaching and a realistic opportunity to put it into practice.

What you'll get from this package

Session 1: Common questions with immediate, personalized feedback

Session 2: Uninterrupted full mock interview, followed by a debrief

Columbia Anesthesiology Resident | Residency Applications & Interviews

I'm an anesthesiology resident at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian and a University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine graduate. Columbia's anesthesiology program has ranked among the top 10 for reputation in Doximity rankings, and Pitt has ranked among the top 15 medical schools for research in U.S. News. During my own residency application cycle, I received 18 anesthesiology interview invitations, including 10 at Top 20 programs. I bring that firsthand experience and a current resident's perspective to helping applicants communicate their strengths and goals. I have coached 20+ residency applicants. My broader advising experience spans more than six years and 200+ hours of paid consulting across medical school and residency admissions. I serve as a residency admissions mentor through the American Society of Anesthesiologists and received Pitt School of Medicine's 2024 Mentorship Award. I help applicants develop an application strategy, build an authentic narrative, refine personal statements in their own voice, and prepare through mock interviews. You'll receive clear, specific, actionable feedback tailored to your experiences and goals, with a focus on presenting your readiness for residency with confidence.
