Description

Best for MFE & MS applicants targeting CS, DS, or AI/ML programs who are actively working toward December admissions deadlines... but are looking for structure, expert feedback, and a clear plan for getting their applications finished. This 6-week small-group bootcamp will help you turn your academics, projects, internships, research, and work experience into a clear, cohesive application. As a former CMU admissions committee member, I’ll teach you how to evaluate your application from the other side of the table: what admissions readers are looking for, what raises questions, and what makes an applicant’s story feel credible and intentional. Over six weeks, we’ll work through: - Your overall profile, strengths, gaps, and program fit - CV strategy and positioning - Your application narrative - Statement of Purpose development and revision - LoR strategy - A final holistic review of your application Each week will have a 90min session, which combines instruction with live review of real cohort materials, so you learn from both your own application and other applicants’ examples. You'll get access to exclusive admissions materials I've created, a small cohort (6 max), and one office hour weekly if you need additional support on your application. Add-on 1:1 support includes two hours of live coaching sessions plus two hours of asynchronous application review and editing.

I evaluate your profile the way an admissions professional would, identify gaps and positioning opportunities, and help you build an application that makes the case for admission. I served on the Admissions Committee for Carnegie Mellon’s Master of Science in Computational Finance program, where I reviewed hundreds of CVs, essays, video interviews, and candidate interviews. I also saw firsthand how faculty evaluated coursework, grades, academic rigor, and technical preparation. For 10 years, I’ve coached Master’s and PhD applicants, from current undergraduates to experienced professionals making career pivots. I help clients strengthen their positioning, essays, CVs, portfolios, interview responses, and overall application strategy. Recent clients have been admitted to Stanford, Columbia, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, UChicago, Yale, Duke, Cornell, Georgia Tech, University of Washington, and more. My approach is direct, supportive, adaptable, and Autistic- and ADHD-friendly. I focus on helping you understand what admissions is looking for, what makes you competitive, and how to communicate that clearly without making the process more overwhelming than it already is.
