Description

This package is built for ambitious applicants who are actively (or very soon) applying for graduate schools over the next 3 months, looking to build up their portfolio/profile in the process, AND put in the work outside of coaching sessions to increase their chances of getting accepted into grad school. Common coaching activities in this package include, but are not limited to: - School Selection: Curate a mix of programs that align with your academic interests, professional aspirations, and personal values. - Profile Assessment: Conduct a deep dive into your candidacy to highlight strengths and uncover areas to enhance. - Application Strategy: Craft a compelling narrative that connects your academic, professional, and personal experiences. - Timeline Building: Create a month-by-month roadmap to stay organized and reduce stress throughout the process. - Test Prep Planning (if needed): Outline a personalized test prep strategy for exams like the GRE or GMAT based on your timeline and goals. - Extracurricular Planning & Portfolio Building: Identify gaps in profile for target schools and start addressing them ASAP (ideally before August if applying for programs in Fall). A great option for those who want to go to grad school but need clarity on which programs to apply for and a specific plan to prepare them to be a standout candidate. Additional sessions or packages can be added on to review package materials - like essays, CVs, and recommendations.

I evaluate your profile the way an admissions professional would, identify gaps and positioning opportunities, and help you build an application that makes the case for admission. I served on the Admissions Committee for Carnegie Mellon’s Master of Science in Computational Finance program, where I reviewed hundreds of CVs, essays, video interviews, and candidate interviews. I also saw firsthand how faculty evaluated coursework, grades, academic rigor, and technical preparation. For 10 years, I’ve coached Master’s and PhD applicants, from current undergraduates to experienced professionals making career pivots. I help clients strengthen their positioning, essays, CVs, portfolios, interview responses, and overall application strategy. Recent clients have been admitted to Stanford, Columbia, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, UChicago, Yale, Duke, Cornell, Georgia Tech, University of Washington, and more. My approach is direct, supportive, adaptable, and Autistic- and ADHD-friendly. I focus on helping you understand what admissions is looking for, what makes you competitive, and how to communicate that clearly without making the process more overwhelming than it already is. You can also find my writing for incoming graduate students on QuantNet and LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/acrosscareers
