Law school admissions is about more than numbers. I learned that firsthand as a first-gen applicant and reverse-splitter. I knew my personal statement and other written materials would need to contextualize my experiences and demonstrate why law school was the right path for me. Choosing the right stories and putting them into words led to outcomes I never imagined possible. I was rejected from just one of the 16 schools I applied to, and was admitted to Stanford Law School, my dream school. That admission opened doors I hadn't let myself imagine, from working in big law at two different firms to spending a summer on Apple's legal team.
